Terms
Terms of Use
These terms apply when you access or use Classroom Course Builder, a Simple Robot tool. By using the service, you agree to these terms.
What the service provides
Classroom Course Builder assists users in turning organised Google Drive folders into draft Google Classroom topics, Materials and Assignments. The user remains responsible for reviewing the proposed plan and all content created in Google Classroom.
Your responsibilities
- Use the service only with Google accounts, courses and files you are authorised to access.
- Review draft posts before publishing them to students.
- Follow your school's policies, safeguarding requirements and data-protection obligations.
- Do not misuse the service, attempt unauthorised access or interfere with its operation.
Availability and changes
The service is provided on an “as available” basis. Features may change, pause or be withdrawn, including where Google changes its APIs, permissions or platform rules. Reasonable efforts will be made to keep the service working, but uninterrupted or error-free availability is not guaranteed.
Backups and review
You are responsible for maintaining appropriate copies of important teaching resources. Course Builder is an organisational tool, not a backup service. Always inspect the destination Classroom after a build.
Third-party services
The service depends on Google Drive, Google Docs, Google Classroom and Google Apps Script. Your use of those services remains subject to Google's terms and your organisation's Google Workspace policies.
No affiliation with Google
Simple Robot and Classroom Course Builder are independent products. They are not endorsed by, sponsored by or affiliated with Google. Google Drive, Google Docs and Google Classroom are trademarks of Google LLC.
Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded. To the extent permitted by law, Simple Robot is not responsible for indirect loss, lost teaching time, lost data, missed publication, or decisions made on the basis of generated course content. You remain responsible for checking the result before it is used with students.
Termination
You may stop using the service at any time and revoke its Google access. Access may be suspended where necessary to protect users, comply with law, investigate misuse or maintain the service.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Courts in England and Wales will have jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory rights you have under applicable consumer law.
